Sophia’s video in Neuer Kunstraum Düsseldorf

Sophia’s video How I loved you until I could no longer see you is part of the group show Intimität in der Medienkunst, curated by imai at the Neuer Kunstraum in Düsseldorf. The exhibition runs from 6 September – 13 October, 2019

Sophia in Georg Klein’s video installation

Soph is a performer in our friend Georg Klein’s video installation Fog at the Großer Wasserspeicher in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. The sound art festival he has co-curated and produced, Dystopie, runs from 21-30 September. Check out the web site for venues and times.

Performing for Ella Ziegler at Meinblau, Berlin on Sunday 16 Sept

We are delighted to be collaborating again with our friend Ella Ziegler for her day of performance and video work entitled Movement of Emotions at Projektraum Meinblau, Christinenstraße 18-19, 10119 Berlin this Sunday 16 September, starting at 8pm. As well as the piece Feigned Unconsciousness, which we have performed before in Berlin with the vibraphone player Morten J. Olsen, we will also be performing in the premiere of a new piece, Streitgespräch, featuring household appliances and text. We hope to see some of you for what should be an interesting evening for all concerned.

Knotting Time at Villa Merkel, Esslingen


Our new installation Knotting Time is coming together for the group show Networking the Unseen at Villa Merkel curated by Gretta Louw. If you are near Esslingen, do pop by on the 17th December between 11:00–15:00 where we will be in the gallery showing how to knot our data carpets. Related to the carpets we are also displaying pen plots of the time spent inside and outside over the years 2016 and 2015 and a video about the process of making the carpets with others.

The exhibition officially opens on 20th December and runs till 4th March.

We’ve uploaded our video so that everyone who didn’t make it to Depot Erbe in Freiburg this year can see what we made. You can find it at the bottom of the Hidden Choreography page. Thanks again to everyone who participated.
